The people of Hedeby
Meet Jarl Alga, Sven, Floki, and the champions of Hedeby’s clans.
Mead & Mischief · The people of Hedeby
Sven has invited the North to celebrate his name day in Alga’s hall. Hedeby’s champions stand ready, honored guests have arrived, and Floki Liesmith has plans of his own.
Giantess · Mother of Monsters · Witch of the Iron Woods
Giantess, Mother of Monsters, and witch of the iron woods. Quick to smile and even quicker to anger, some say even the Gods have been known to tread carefully around her.
Monster Folk
Meet The Pup, one of the monster folk at VikingFest.
Wolf Clan Leader
Astrid Johansdottir leads the Wolf clan in Hedeby.
Jarl of Hedeby · Dragon Clan
Bold, watchful, and fiercely protective of Hedeby, Jarl Alga holds the four clans together as old grudges begin to stir. Her hall is open for Sven’s name day—but her welcome should not be mistaken for weakness.
The Jarl’s Consort · Host of the Name Day
It is Sven’s name day, and all Hedeby has been invited to celebrate. Warm-hearted and generous with both mead and hospitality, he stands beside Alga as the gathering draws friends, rivals, and at least one dangerous wanderer.
The Mysterious Wanderer · Maker of Mischief
Floki tells a fine story, especially when the truth would spoil his fun. Peeved by last year’s events, the wandering troublemaker returns with Jötnar and monsterkin allies—and a scheme aimed squarely at Alga’s rule.
Champion of Hedeby · Strongest Man in the North
The mighty champion of Hedeby meets every challenge with muscle, honor, and the confidence of someone who has yet to find a weight he cannot lift.
Keeper of the VIV experience
The illustrious Rikaviður watches over the Huscarls and Valkyrie Club, ensuring the hall’s most honored guests receive a legendary welcome.
Champion of the Dragon Clan
Areathe is the Champion of the Dragon Clan. At the last VikingFest, he married the daughter of the Raven Clan leader.
Lady of the Huldafolk · Viking Fairies
Her name means “happiness” or “bliss,” and Sæla carries both wherever the Huldafolk gather. Bright, curious, and full of wintry mischief, she brings the old magic of the Viking fairies into Hedeby.
