Behind the performance
Meet Maggie Moon.
Maggie Moon is the musical persona of Kansas City singer, songwriter, and pianist Maggie Boone. Her original work brings together folk, pop, and whimsical ballads, with stories of life and love at its center. Performing as Miss Maggie Moon, she follows a more fairy-tale-inspired path through song. For VikingFest’s Saturday gathering, she is joined by Draygon on war drums, bringing her storytelling into the festival’s dark-folk setting.
